Modern Cooperative is Officially Closed

After more than nine years and two stores, we are sad to announce that we are closing Modern Cooperative’s retail operation in Hyde Park.

A sincere thank you goes out to our dedicated customers and talented artists for supporting us over all these years. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time both in Pilsen and Hyde Park building lasting friendships with you, our neighbors.

We’ve had a great run, and from the bottom of our hearts we truly appreciate all the love you’ve shown for Modern Cooperative.

Our primary reason for closing is our decision to move from Chicago to Dallas. Secondly, as the viability of the retail store model has changed, we’ve realized it’s time for us to move on to a new chapter. Please know this decision was not easy – it is difficult to let go of something we’ve put our heart and soul into for so long.
